I like this one because the idea is simple so I can concentrate on getting the mechanics of animation right.
I made the animation in Toon Boom, the background in Blender and did the editing in Filmora.
Towards the end of WW2 the SS would hang any German soldier who they thought was a deserter. So this was basically anyone who wasn’t with their unit. I thought that I would take this idea and mix it with John Carpenter’s movie, “The Thing”.

My June/ July entry to Loop De Loop. This time the theme was: “Dog”, so I decided to do an animation based on John Carpenters, “The Thing”.
This scene was inspired by the climatic end of Stephen King’s Firestarter and was animated in Toon Boom.
